First tracks, no lift queues, and terrain you simply cannot reach any other way.
Best for: Strong intermediate skiers and up who want fresh snow and a small group.
When to go: January to March up north, with February often the pick for snow. We can also look at the southern hemisphere when the dates call for it.
Where to go: British Columbia in Canada is the heartland, with lodges built around the helicopter and millions of acres to themselves. New Zealand and Alaska offer something different in scale and feel.
Good to know: You don't need to be an expert, but you should be comfortable off piste in changing snow. Weather runs the show, so good operators build in spare days and back up plans, and we're upfront with you about that. You can join a small group or take a private helicopter for your own party. Fitness matters more than people expect.
Tell us your level and dates, and we'll match you to the right lodge.
